Planting and care

These bushes grow quickly in any rich but fairly light soil without excessive watering. They prefer a warm and sheltered position, protected from the wind. Outside coastal areas, due to their poor hardiness (-8°C (17.6 °F) to -10°C), it is preferable to cultivate them in pots, kept frost-free during winter. Pruning rigorously in early spring will maintain their compact and floriferous appearance. Their foliage remains throughout winter.
