Planting and care

These bushes grow quickly in any rich but fairly light soil without excessive moisture They prefer a warm and sheltered exposure away from strong winds. Outside coastal areas, it is best to grow them in pots due to their poor hardiness (-8°to -10°C (17.6°F)) and keep frost-free during winter. Pruning rigorously in early spring maintains their compact and floriferous appearance. Their foliage remains throughout winter.
