PKS
This garden harrow features a 1.30m (4ft) ash wood handle and a copper alloy head with 4 curved bronze teeth. This tool allows for easy scraping, loosening, and aerating of the soil in flower beds between plants, and for preparing the soil before sowing or planting. Tool guaranteed for 2 years.

The jointed 4-tooth copper harrow, Merak model from the PKS Bronze range, the namesake of the famous Austrian ecologist and naturalist, is a sturdy and manoeuvrable garden tool, very practical for working the soil on the surface in flower beds or in preparation for spring or autumn sowing and planting. The copper head, which releases micro particles into the soil during use, helps to amend it with this natural soil constituent. With the bronze teeth, root vegetables can be optimally and gently hilled. It is extremely sturdy and also withstands digging in compact soil.

This tool allows you to:

  • "hook" the soil to a depth of about fifteen cm.
  • aerate the soil, make it looser, more supple and lighter.
  • rake its surface by making backward and forward movements.
  • break up clods of soil.
  • level and smooth the soil just before sowing or planting.
  • cover the furrows after sowing, as it prevents the accumulation of stones unlike a rake with closer teeth.
  • optionally harvest potatoes.
