A traditional hand hoe with an ash handle, featuring a hardened steel head forged by hand in a single piece, ensuring great shock resistance and excellent adaptability to heavy soils. With its scraper-shaped head, this garden tool is ideal for weeding, scraping, and surface tilling the soil.

This traditional hoe by De Pypere has a sturdy ash handle and a scraper-shaped blade forged in one piece, very resistant and perfectly suited for working on hard and compact soils. This garden tool is very effective for weeding, scraping, and hoeing the surface of the soil. Its head is hand-forged with a steel body and a boron steel finish. It is a well-crafted small hand tool that will last for many years.

Dimensions: head width: 8cm (3in) x 6.5cm (3in). Handle length: 14cm (6in)

The hoe is one of the essential tools when gardening, and one of the first to acquire due to its versatility. It consists of a natural ash handle, known for its hardness, with a socket where the forged head in a hardened steel that is resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion is fixed. The flat and sharpened blade is for hoeing the soil, weeding by scraping the surface of the soil, hoeing, and earthing up, which means piling up the soil around the base of plants. The pointed sides are used for weeding in the gaps between paving stones, removing the roots of 'weeds', and loosening the surface of the soil. In the vegetable garden, the hoe is used to dig a furrow in the soil for sowing, in line with a marked line using a cord. This hoe is useful for working the soil in restricted or raised spaces such as flower beds and can manoeuvre around plants that are too close together for a wider hoe to pass through. The small handle of this hoe has a hole at the top, allowing it to be hung on a nail. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.

The traditional range by Pypere includes high-quality tools, all made of forged steel and equipped with ash handles. The hardened boron steel that covers the blade is very hard and resistant, making it a valuable material for tools that can be heavily used in the garden.

This tool has a warranty. It does not apply to handles or grips, only to the metal parts except consumables (screws, springs, etc.) and within the scope of normal use.
