This traditional digging fork has an 80cm (32in) ash handle ending in a T-shape, and a 3-tine head that easily penetrates the soil. It is a very practical tool for working and turning any type of soil in tight spaces, in flower beds or borders, including in a seated or kneeling position. Its head is hand-forged from boron steel.

This traditional De Pypere digging fork, equipped with an ash handle, has a small head with 3 sharp tines for turning any type of soil, even compacted, in tight and narrow areas that require precise work. Its short, T-shaped handle allows for easy use while sitting or kneeling. Its head is hand-forged from steel, with a boron steel finish. It is a durable, robust, well-made tool that will last for many years.

Dimensions: blade: 17 x 11cm (4in) - handle length: 80cm (32in) (well-suited for petite gardeners)

The digging fork is a complementary tool to the spade, designed to loosen, cultivate, and break up the soil deeply, in small areas. It is much better suited than the spade for working with clay or heavy and compacted soils. It allows for loosening the soil without turning it, simply by penetrating with its tines. Unlike the spade, this garden tool does not disturb the soil's microbial life and does not cut through earthworms, which are essential for soil health and fertility. It can be used to remove weeds, as well as certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips), and to divide large clumps of perennial plants. This digging fork consists of a natural ash handle, known for its hardness, with a socket where the forged head made from tempered steel that is resistant to shocks, torsion, and corrosion thanks to the boron steel finish is attached. The T-shaped handle increases the force: it allows for leverage when driving the head into the ground. The handle is compostable, and the metal head is recyclable.

The traditional De Pypere range includes high-quality tools, all made from forged steel and equipped with ash handles. The boron steel covering the blades is very hard and resistant, making it a valuable material for tools that can be heavily used in the garden.

This tool is under warranty. The warranty does not apply to handles or grips, only to the metal parts, except consumables (screws, springs, others), and within the scope of normal use.

Directions for use The fork is complementary to the spade, it is designed to loosen, cultivate and crumble the soil deeply, and even to turn it over, in small areas. It is much better suited than the spade for working with clayey or heavy and compacted soils, and it disturbs the soil life less. This tool also removes weeds, as well as certain vegetable plants (leeks, potatoes, carrots, turnips), or even divides large clumps of perennial plants. The T-shaped handle multiplies the force: it allows for leverage to drive the head into the soil, even when gardening in a seated or kneeling position.
