Description

The Fragaria 'Pink Panda' is a perennial ornamental strawberry. It closely resembles the fruiting strawberry but bears very pretty bright pink petals that surround a beautiful heart of golden stamens. The flowering lasts a long time, from late spring to early autumn.

This pink strawberry is perennial and can withstand cold winters. It is a great asset for a stunning garden, as it will nicely decorate your flower pots, rockeries, and flower beds as a very good ground cover.

Its main interest is decorative, but the Fragaria Pink Panda will still produce some fruits that are perfectly edible.

Planting and care

The Fragaria 'Pink Panda' will prefer a sunny spot but will also do well in partial shade. Plant your strawberry in a well-draining mix enriched with a bit of leaf compost or potting soil. It will not self-seed as it does not produce seeds, but let it spread through its runners.
