Very disappointed. I have never had a single flower despite buying them in 2019. I have a lot of leaves, that's all. I am very disappointed.

Description

The 'Purple Cloud' Agapanthus has giant flowers of an exceptional blue-violet colour, measuring 18cm (7in) in diameter.

Agapanthus are perennial plants that form clumps of arching ribbon-like leaves, from which large round umbels of bell-shaped flowers emerge. They are moderately hardy and should be grown in pots in colder regions. It is advisable to mulch them in case of heavy frost. They prefer a rich and moist, but well-drained soil.

We deliver them in 11cm (4in) pots. Over time, they will form increasingly stronger clumps.

Planting and care

Plant them by covering them with at least 10cm (4in) of good soil so that they can resist the cold. It is essential to plant them in the spring and to mulch them in the winter. For pot cultivation, use 5 young plants for a 24cm (9in) pot and protect your pots in the winter. They prefer a rich and moist but well-drained soil. Water them regularly during the growth period (twice a week). However, avoid overwatering them. They are sensitive to excessive moisture in the winter.
