Description
This Gaura forms a bushy clump with slender stems carrying small lanceolate leaves.
The flowering, which lasts from July to October, takes the form of panicles measuring about 30 cm, with white flowers of 4 petals, ephemeral, blooming in the evening.
Light in appearance, with its long mobile stems, and undemanding, you can combine it in free-flowing borders with Gaillardia, Asters, Verbena bonariensis or Pentsemons for example, or even with roses.
Beautiful, simple and undemanding: a perennial that earns its place in every garden.

Planting and care
Install your Gaura in full sun or possibly in partial shade, in well-drained, rather moist soil. The lindheimeri are not very demanding, tolerate some drought, and are satisfied with rather poor soil. You can prune them into shape in early spring and extend the flowering by cutting off the faded flower stems. It can also be grown in a large pot, which you should make sure to water regularly during dry weather.
