Well-developed plant. It suffered from slugs but of course, nothing to do with the plant's quality. So, it has been put back into a pot.

Planting and care

The Catherine Deneuve Geranium psilostemon should be planted during spring or autumn. This variety, like all other perennial geraniums, is undemanding in terms of position and soil type. It can be planted in any fertile soil that is not waterlogged. It tolerates limestone. It thrives in the sun, which promotes flowering, or in partial shade. To plant your young plant, prepare a planting hole 20 cm (8in) wide and deep by loosening the soil well and adding a base amendment such as dried blood or horn. Remove your plant from its pot and install in the hole by covering the top of the root ball with 3 cm (1in) of soil. Fill in and water generously to remove any air pockets. Space the plants 60 cm (24in) apart. If planting during dry weather it is necessary to water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate root development, even though it ultimately requires little moisture in summer. Provide little water in winter. From July to September, remove faded flowers and leaves to encourage new growth. If the foliage has not been affected by the cold, cut back the large clumps every spring to keep them compact and promote new vegetation. It is also possible to cut back after flowering and water well to encourage the plant to produce a neat clump.
