This orange Bahco PG-12-F lightweight secateurs stands out with its narrow cutting head, which is suitable for better access to thin and dense stems! Its classic cutting method with crossed blades is perfect for cutting through branches and live, tender, and still green stems up to 20mm (1in) in diameter. It is ideal for pruning thin flower stems, perennials, and small bushes. Made of high quality, it has hardened carbon steel blades and lightweight, comfortable reinforced polyamide fiberglass handles. It is a versatile pruning tool, very easy to handle due to its lightness and compactness. It is also practical, with a one-handed locking system and a wire cutter. Made in France guarantee.
The secateurs are an essential tool that every gardener must have, whether they need to maintain a small balcony, a terrace, a small urban garden, a large countryside garden, or an orchard. The secateurs with crossed blades are the most common. It consists of two mobile curved blades that slide against each other when the handles of the tool are tightened. It works like a pair of scissors. Unlike anvil secateurs, it provides a clean and neat cut that does not crush the cut stems. It is therefore the most suitable secateurs for cutting green wood and tender branches, as it avoids creating wounds that can become entry points for diseases and promotes proper healing of wounds. The crossed blades cutting method also offers better cutting comfort. The lightweight orange Bahco PG-12-F secateurs with its narrow cutting head will facilitate the cutting of plants with thin and dense stems. Due to its manoeuverability, it is ideal for picking flowers, herbs, vegetables, and fruits, as well as for pruning annuals, perennials, climbers, and small bushes. It could also be used for maintaining topiaries that require precise work with a not too bulky tool.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
