The secateur is an essential tool for every gardener, whether they have to maintain a small balcony, a terrace, a small urban garden, a large countryside garden, or an orchard. The anvil secateur differs from the classic secateur in that its sharp blade, sharpened on both sides, is thicker and crushes against the completely flat metal part. This prevents the branches from twisting during cutting. This cutting method allows for better grip and therefore greater cutting force on larger branch diameters. Directions for use This pruning shear is used to cut dead, dry, or mature (hard) branches and twigs up to 25mm (1in) in diameter. Clean the blades with alcohol after use to disinfect them and prevent the spread of diseases. This action also helps to keep them in good condition (the sap of some plants can attack the blades of the pruning shears or make them sticky). Store this tool away from bad weather, in a dry place.
