The rose bushes died very quickly, they were sickly and weak.

Description

Rose 'Climbing Iceberg' is a climbing version of the 'Snow Fairy' rose. It resembles it in every way. Its pure white flowering is abundant, blooming from spring to autumn.

It is a reliable, vigorous, and hardy rose. The roses hold up very well to rain, and the foliage is not too susceptible to diseases. It is perfect for flowering a pergola or a fence. It will have a beautiful effect against a dark brick wall. Mix it with clematis to complement the flowering with a colourful touch throughout summer.

Obtained by Cant in 1968.

Planting and care

It prefers sunny locations, but also performs well in partial shade. However, be cautious of excessive moisture. Plant your rose in well-worked soil, crumbling the earth thoroughly. Place an amendment such as dried blood or dehydrated horn at the bottom of the planting hole. After planting, water generously to eliminate air pockets. During dry weather, regular watering for a few weeks is necessary to facilitate root development. Train the branches as horizontally as possible to encourage more flowers.

Roses are often stained or unsightly at the end of summer, but this does not affect their development. These spots are not harmful to the rose and are a natural phenomenon.
