Very good rose bush, received in very healthy condition. Even though it's small, it still produces lovely coral-colored roses. You can tell this modern rose bush is sturdy.

Description

The 'Isalia' rose is part of the Decorosier range, roses developed to ensure exceptional flowering with minimal constraints. 'Isalia', the latest addition to the range, has a coral orange colour and the centre of its rose whitens in the sun. A beautiful fresh and sparkling touch throughout the beautiful season.

The Decorosier roses are bushy roses with a spreading habit, they are vigorous and hardy and adapt to any type of soil. They are ADR certified, which means they are extremely disease resistant. All these qualities will make your job easier. They are perfect for planting in flower beds, borders, pots, or even slopes.

ADR is the label of the German Federation of Rose Breeders. This distinction is only given to roses that have successfully passed numerous tests regarding flowering, hardiness, and disease resistance without any pesticide on 10 different locations.

Planting and care

The Decorosier 'Isalia' rose is not demanding in terms of soil quality and sunlight, however keep in mind that it will bloom earlier and more abundantly in the sun than in the shade. To plant your rose, work the soil by breaking it up well and placing an amendment at the bottom of the planting hole, such as dried blood or dehydrated horn. Dress the roots of your rose before planting (dip them in a muddy mixture of water and soil). Water generously after planting to remove air pockets. You can lightly mound soil around the rose to hide the grafting point from the sun's rays. Water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate rooting. Decorosier roses do not require pruning. But to control their size, trim them by half in spring if necessary. Removing faded blooms will stimulate the development of new buds throughout the summer.
