Description

The TURFLINE Leisure and Play Grass is a blend of professional-quality grasses designed for intensive use. This short grass meadow will withstand trampling, heat, drought, and animals, and will regenerate quickly if damaged. The seeds can be sown in March-April or early autumn, broadcast in the sun, in well-prepared and loosened soil. 1 kg covers up to 30 m², 50 m² for overseeding.

Composition:

  • 30% tall fescue (variety 1).
  • 30% tall fescue (variety 2).
  • 30% Quick Action® ryegrass.
  • 10% Kentucky bluegrass.

The Quick Action® tetraploid ryegrass is a grass that establishes quickly in any season, requires little maintenance, shows exceptional tolerance to various stresses, and resists trampling well.

Usage and dosage: 30 to 35 g/m²

  • 1 kg covers 30 m² for new lawns or 50 m² for overseeding.
  • 2.5 kg covers 75 m² for new lawns or 125 m² for overseeding.

Note: in case of a very dry summer, the tapetum may take on a "doormat" appearance. It will green up again with the first rains.

Planting and care

Sowing:

Sow directly in place, in March-April (sowing possible in September-October in a hot and dry climate), in well-prepared soil, free of weeds, refined and raked. Sow broadcast on the soil surface then lightly rake to cover the seeds. Optionally, roll to ensure good seed-to-soil contact. Water regularly with a fine spray to keep the soil slightly moist until germination if there is no rain.

Usage and dosage: 30 to 35 g/m²

  • 1 kg covers 30 m² for new sowing or 50 m² for overseeding.
  • 2.5 kg covers 75 m² for new sowing or 125 m² for overseeding.
