Buxus sempervirens Suffruticosa - Boxwood

Buxus sempervirens 'Suffructicosa' is evergreen and decorative all year round. It is tolerant to most soils and exposure conditions.

The compact foliage is made up of small leaves that are tough and shiny green. The shape of this variety of boxwood is very compact, but its growth is slower. For this reason, it is the most suitable variety for borders. Supplied in a 9 cm bucket to create borders. Allow 5 buckets for a linear metre.

Very hardy and resistant - it is common to see 50-year-old boxwoods in some grand gardens. In fact, there are boxwoods over 500 years old!
