Description
Viburnum plicatum 'Pink Beauty' is a spreading bush with many advantages. It has a layered habit with a spreading shape, which creates a unique focal point in the garden. Its green foliage is highly veined and takes on magnificent reddish colours in autumn.
In May/June, it is covered in delicate inflorescences, resembling those of hydrangeas with lace-cap flowers. Initially white, they then take on a soft pink colouration. Finally, it bears a significant fruiting of small red fruits, inedible but decorative, in late summer.
It is an easy, hardy bush that does not require any specific soil.
