Fold-out anti-insect tunnel, 0.60 x 3 m
As a professional, this system is a great idea, but it would need to be 1 metre (3 feet) wide by 10 metres (33 feet) long, with a good height.

This fold-out anti-insect tunnel is a two-in-one accessory that will quickly become essential. It is very easy to set up and handle and it protects crops from flying insects and therefore reduces the use of pesticides, but also protects them from cold and bad weather. This pre-assembled tunnel is composed of a high-quality micro-aerated fleece with integrated hoops. The accordion system allows its length to be adjusted according to the size of the garden. In the same way as a forcing tunnel, it improves the growth of seeds, seedlings and plants, and the harvest of vegetables and small fruits.
Fully unfolded dimensions: 0.60m (2ft) wide x 3m (10ft) long x 43cm (17in) high.
Features: reusable anti-UV winter fleece with hoops.
This tunnel has good thermal performance while allowing air, water, and light to pass through. It also provides an effective physical barrier against flying insects, wind, and hail showers. Thanks to the fleece, the heat accumulated during the day, mainly at ground level, will be released to the seeds or plants during the night, which activates germination, growth, flowering, and fruit ripening. Once the season is over in autumn, you can fold up this tunnel and it will take up very little space.
Sowing and cultivation of frost-sensitive plants can be done in place very early in the spring (earlier or later depending on the region), as long as you have an efficient forcing tunnel. This device, which is extremely easy to use, will therefore encourage harvesting earlier in the season, but also over a longer period for vegetables such as leeks or lettuces. As the crops are protected from flying insects (whiteflies, flies, flea beetles, leaf beetles, leafhoppers, bugs...), they do not need to be treated against these pests. This cultivation method is suitable for sowing carrots, lettuce, and radishes, as well as for strawberry beds or even melons and other trailing plants. Install the tunnel sheltered from the wind and in full sun. Remember to water and ventilate from time to time, especially if the sun is hot.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
The flowering period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, etc.)
It will vary according to where you live:- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
Pruning of summer-flowering shrubs (Indian Lilac, Perovskia, etc.) can be done in winter or spring.
In cold regions as well as with frost-sensitive plants, avoid pruning too early when severe frosts may still occur.
The planting period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, United Kingdom, Ireland, Netherlands).
It will vary according to where you live:
- In Mediterranean zones (Marseille, Madrid, Milan, etc.), autumn and winter are the best planting periods.
- In continental zones (Strasbourg, Munich, Vienna, etc.), delay planting by 2 to 3 weeks in spring and bring it forward by 2 to 4 weeks in autumn.
- In mountainous regions (the Alps, Pyrenees, Carpathians, etc.), it is best to plant in late spring (May-June) or late summer (August-September).
The harvesting period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions in USDA zone 8 (France, England, Ireland, the Netherlands).
In colder areas (Scandinavia, Poland, Austria...) fruit and vegetable harvests are likely to be delayed by 3-4 weeks.
In warmer areas (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), harvesting will probably take place earlier, depending on weather conditions.
The sowing periods indicated on our website apply to countries and regions within USDA Zone 8 (France, UK, Ireland, Netherlands).
In colder areas (Scandinavia, Poland, Austria...), delay any outdoor sowing by 3-4 weeks, or sow under glass.
In warmer climes (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), bring outdoor sowing forward by a few weeks.
