A special black thermoformed plastic tray for straight-rooted carrots and vegetables, composed of 20 deep and narrow growing cells. Well-maintained, you can reuse it for several years. Store it away from light after use. Watering can be done using a watering can with a rose attachment or through capillary action by placing a piece of carpet under the culture plate that will be regularly moistened.

This tray of 20 special carrot cells from Soparco is suitable for both amateur and professional gardeners. Made of sturdy black plastic, it has 20 deep and narrow growing pots in which it will be easy to germinate and cultivate very young vegetable plants such as carrots, parsnips, and tuberous parsley, which develop a long vertical root. This model can also be used for sowing perennials with taproots, such as hollyhocks, for example. Once the seedlings have developed enough, simply gently remove them from their cell and transplant them into the soil in the vegetable garden. Well-maintained, you can reuse this seed tray for several years. Store it away from light after use.

The growing tray measures 18.5 cm (7in) in length, 14 cm (6in) in width, and 9 cm (4in) in height. It is made of black plastic material, slightly satin, rigid enough to be easily handled. It has 20 conical, narrow, and deep growing cells with a round base, perforated at the bottom, all in one piece. This facilitates filling the cells with potting soil, placement, sowing, handling, care, watering, and transplanting. Watering can be done using a watering can with a fine rose or by capillary action, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the seed tray. This way, the plant will be protected from excessive watering and will benefit from regular water supply with a constantly moist substrate.

Directions for use Place your sowing tray on a suitable support: table, shelf... Fill each of the culture cells with special seed compost. Sow your seeds following the instructions for each plant, water gently. Store it in a bright and heated room. Ensure that the compost remains slightly moist, but not waterlogged. Watering can be done by capillarity, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the sowing tray. This way, the plant will be protected from excessive watering and will benefit from a regular water supply with a substrate that will always be moist. You can also place a 2cm (1in) high saucer suitable for all recoverable Soparco sowing trays to maintain long-lasting moisture in the substrate. Reference: XIOA0001 (Saucer for recoverable sowing tray). Once the seedlings are well developed, gently remove them from each culture cell and repot them individually in a larger pot or plant them directly in the ground. Fill with a substrate suitable for the plant (compost, a mixture of soil and compost...). Water to firm the soil around the roots. The sowing tray is reusable. Store it away from direct sunlight in a dry room.
