Made of sturdy black plastic, it has 20 deep and narrow growing pots in which it will be easy to germinate and cultivate very young vegetable plants such as carrots, parsnips, and tuberous parsley, which develop a long vertical root. This model can also be used for sowing perennials with taproots, such as hollyhocks, for example. Once the seedlings have developed enough, simply gently remove them from their cell and transplant them into the soil in the vegetable garden. The growing tray measures 18.5 cm (7in) in length, 14 cm (6in) in width, and 9 cm (4in) in height. It is made of black plastic material, slightly satin, rigid enough to be easily handled.
