Collection of 30 bulbs to plant in layers for a succession of flowers until the middle of spring

 

This Collection is composed of:

- 10 Christmas Dream Tulips

- 5 Atlantic Hyacinths

- 15 Dark Eyes Armenian Grape Hyacinths

These bulbs are labelled separately.

 

Plant them in autumn, in a deep pot or a planter at least 40 cm (16in) deep. Prepare your container and drill some holes in the bottom of the pot and line it with clay pebbles 5 cm (2in) thick to ensure good drainage. Arrange the bulbs in layers, place them hierarchically, from the tallest variety to the shortest variety. Plant the Tulips first on a bed of 10 cm (4in) of potting soil, then add the Hyacinths and finally the small Grape Hyacinths. Cover each bulb layer with 5 to 10 cm (2 to 4in) of potting soil.
