The earliest ones are in full flower and we really enjoy the harmony of colours. Others are getting ready to take over: the flowering will therefore last for a good while longer!

Planting and care

How to plant my tulips? Plant your tulips as soon as possible in well-drained soil. Loosen the soil deeply. Plant at a depth of 15cm (bulbs should be covered with twice their height of soil). Space the bulbs a few centimetres apart, ensuring they don't touch each other. Choose a sunny position for better flowering. After flowering, cut the flower stems and allow the leaves to dry completely before cutting them. After flowering, their foliage becomes faded and unsightly. We recommend planting Heucheras, Tiarellas, Brunneras, Bleeding Hearts, Cypress Spurge in the foreground of your borders - their foliage will enhance the colours of your tulips and during the season, they will elegantly conceal their yellowed leaves.
