Nemophila menziesii - seeds

Last April, I purchased eight packets of seeds. They arrived quickly, and I sowed them all shortly after. Unfortunately, throughout the entire year, only one or two small flowers bloomed in the four large pots. However, I didn't think the problem was with the seeds (they were fleshy and plentiful upon arrival, and I found them to be of excellent quality). I assumed it was simply because I don't have a green thumb (I've only managed to keep pothos and succulents alive for a long time; buying these seeds was an impulse, as they looked very much like the flower from the anime Frieren). To my great surprise, a year later, at the end of March this year. At the end of last year, I replanted tulip bulbs in the same pots where I had sown these small flowers (out of laziness, I only changed half the soil, so I assume the seeds are still in the old soil). Perhaps thanks to the exceptionally mild spring this year, I was surprised to see in mid-March that these flowers and the potted tulips were in full bloom. Despite the quantity of seeds not being high, the pots were overflowing with flowers, even outside the indicated season (standard flowering seems to occur each summer). Now most of the flowers have even reached the maximum announced height of 20 cm. Compared to last year's, this time the flowers are huge, each measuring about 2 cm in diameter. It's truly incredible!
