My little plants arrived safely, but it would be helpful to have them labeled in the delivery box. Thank you.

Collection items (5 plants)

Description

This rich and delicate Berry Cascade Collection combines freshness with intensity. The flowers bloom abundantly and continuously throughout the summer. With their flexible habit, these annual plants are ideal for hanging baskets or flower pots. A collection of 5 plants in 4 varieties for a 30cm (12in) pot.

Supplied as green plants measuring 4 to 8cm (2 to 3in) in packs of 5 small plug plants with a diameter of 2.8cm (1in) and a height of 4cm (2in), individually labelled. Our plants are at least eight weeks old and strong enough to be planted in the ground once the last frost has passed.

Note: Please be aware that our young plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners. Upon receipt, transplant and store them in a sheltered place (conservatory, greenhouse, cold frame) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before planting them outdoors once the risk of frost has definitely passed.

Planting and care

You can plant your Berry Cascade collection in the ground or in a pot. If you wish to plant them in the ground, wait until the last heavy frosts have passed. In the meantime, you can pre-cultivate them in a warm and bright place in a pot to accelerate their growth. Plant in a sunny location. They need deep and humus-bearing soil, which remains rather moist. Therefore, they appreciate rich soils. If necessary, enrich the planting substrate with dehydrated blood, for example. Water regularly, but not excessively. They are very flower-bearing and have a high nutrient requirement. We recommend feeding them with a potting fertiliser once or twice a week during the growing season. Remove faded flowers as they appear to maintain a beautiful appearance and prolong flowering.
