I ordered some calibrachoa in plug trays. Some of them didn't survive, about 10 out of thirty, so I had to buy more from a local nursery. I thought I was getting a good deal by buying from promesse de fleurs, but I was disappointed.

Note: Please be aware that our plug plants are professional products intended for experienced gardeners: upon receipt, transplant and store them in a sheltered area (veranda, greenhouse, cold frame, etc.) at a temperature above 14 °C (57.2 °F) for a few weeks before being planted outdoors once the risk of frost has passed.

Planting and care
Plant after the last heavy frosts (trailing petunias tolerate a light late frost) in a sunny or semi-shaded position. Very floriferous and with rapid growth, they are hungry plants. Feed them with a liquid fertiliser for surfinias once or twice a week during the growth period. Do not overwater as calibrachoas are sensitive to excess moisture. They tolerate drought well, but you should water them regularly during hot summer weather.

The flowering period indicated on our website applies to countries and regions located in USDA zone 8 (France, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the Netherlands, etc.)
It will vary according to where you live:
- In zones 9 to 10 (Italy, Spain, Greece, etc.), flowering will occur about 2 to 4 weeks earlier.
- In zones 6 to 7 (Germany, Poland, Slovenia, and lower mountainous regions), flowering will be delayed by 2 to 3 weeks.
- In zone 5 (Central Europe, Scandinavia), blooming will be delayed by 3 to 5 weeks.
In temperate climates, pruning of spring-flowering shrubs (forsythia, spireas, etc.) should be done just after flowering.
