More information

The Sea Dream Planter Collection is a blue and white floral composition that showcases delicate blooms in a harmony that evokes freshness, purity, the seaside, and holidays. It brings together 3 varieties of annual plants that flower for months, from spring until the first cold weather. Each develops vegetation that is more or less trailing, "cushion-like" or erect depending on each case, allowing for the easy creation of a magnificent pot measuring 40 to 60cm (16 to 24in) in diameter. The cloud of blue to mauve flowers of lobelias and verbenas will be dominated by the beautiful white daisies of the Osteospermum.

Description

The Sea Dream Planter Collection allows you to create a floral composition in blue and white that showcases flowering in harmony evoking freshness, purity, the seaside, and holidays. It brings together 3 varieties of annual plants that bloom for months, from spring until the first cold weather. Each develops vegetation that is more or less trailing or erect, allowing you to easily create a magnificent pot measuring 40 to 60cm (16 to 24in) in diameter. The cloud of blue to mauve flowers of lobelia and verbenas will be dominated by the beautiful white daisies of Osteospermum.

The collection consists of 5 plug plants:

1 plug plant of Osteospermum Voltage White: remarkably floriferous, this variety forms a large cushion from which 30cm (12in) tall, branched flower stems rise, bearing small white daisies with golden yellow hearts. Plant in the centre of the planter.

2 plug plants of Lobelia Hot Bavaria: with a semi-trailing cushion habit and generous bright blue flowering with white centres. This variety tolerates heat and sun.

2 plug plants of Verbena Superbena Stormburst, with a trailing habit, whose stems are covered with umbels of small light lavender flowers with white centres, to be planted along the edge.

All these plants are generous, floriferous, and undemanding, and require only minimal maintenance: good enriched soil at planting and regular watering are sufficient. Place your pot in the sun, on the terrace, or balcony, or to highlight the curve of a pathway, a few steps, a porch...

Note: Attention, our plug plants are professional products reserved for experienced gardeners. Upon receipt, transplant and store them under cover (veranda, greenhouse, frame...) at a temperature above 14°C (57.2°F) for a few weeks before being planted outdoors once the risk of frost has passed.

Planting and care

Plant your plug plants of annuals in a container or a large pot (50 to 60cm (20 to 24in) wide), in a sunny position or possibly in partial shade. They need light and humus-rich soil and appreciate fertilizer. In pots, the annuals should be regularly watered, and you can extend their flowering during autumn by bringing them indoors at the first frost.
