Our plug plants are meant for experienced gardeners, so we want to ensure you know how to care for them. After receiving them, we suggest transplanting them and storing them in a conservatory, greenhouse, or cold frame at a temperature above 14°C for a few weeks. This will help them adjust to their new environment before you move them outside. Please ensure that the frost risk has passed before planting them outdoors.

Planting and care

To plant geraniums, wait until after the last heavy frosts and choose a spot that gets sun or semi-shade. Geraniums grow quickly and produce many flowers, but they must be fed often. Use a liquid geranium fertiliser once or twice a week during their growth period. Be careful not to overwater them, as they don't like too much moisture. Geraniums can handle dry periods, but water them regularly when it's hot outside. Remove any flowers that have wilted and any dry leaves to keep them looking their best.
