The Ivy Geranium or King of Balconies (in Latin Pelargonium x peltatum) is a generous plant that produces an abundance of red, pink, purple or white flowers, single or double, on flexible stems, from May to November. Its beautiful trailing habit, resistance to bad weather, and ease of maintenance make this plant the king of balconies and terraces. Create sumptuous displays in hanging baskets or pots by mixing different colours. Ivy geraniums are derived from Pelargonium peltatum, a plant native to the coastal region of the Cape Province in South Africa. It forms creeping or spreading stems, with ivy-like foliage. The numerous hybrids known as ivy-leaved geraniums have the same trailing habit but with increased flowering. Opt for the classic Ivy Geranium King of Balconies Imperial Red, succumb to the magnetic double garnet flowering of Tommy, or melt for the delicate luminous flowering of Ville de Dresden
