Description

A highly studied genus, now divided into several genera, not universally agreed upon by all botanists. They are good perennial plants that mostly dislike heavy, compact, and wet soils. Also see Leucanthemum, Chrysanthemum, and the SEEDS chapter for annual varieties.

(Syn. Tanacetum c.) Upright and stiff clump. Leaves elongated with rounded lobes. Large terminal umbels of daisies, 5 to 7 cm (2 to 3in) wide.
