Our range of red-flowered Yarrows. The Achillea millefolium, a pretty wildflower, has given rise to some beautiful red varieties such as 'Paprika''Cassis' and 'Red Velvet'. These perennials have retained the robustness and hardiness of their wild ancestor, which they surpass with their long, dazzling summer flowering from June to September. The range of red tones is extensive in yarrow, from the most delicious red in 'Cerise Queen' to salmon red in gradient in 'Pretty Woman' and garnet in 'Pomegranate' or the purplish red of the umbels of 'Summerwine'. In yarrow, there are differences in height depending on the species and varieties, spring or summer flowering, more or less dissected foliage, green to grey-green, aromatic, more or less evergreen or deciduous. There are also differences in the size of the flowers. Yarrow has low requirements: it loves the sun, tolerates drought and limestone. In general, yarrows are easy and hardy plants, very useful as ground cover, along the edge of a bed or along a path, even in a meadow.
