Everything was in disarray in the box: I couldn't find the Agastache, nor the Arnica, I sorted out the ferns but I don't know who is who!!!

Description

Agastache rupestris is a beautiful perennial with an upright habit. Its branched stems are covered with a whitish bloom. It bears an abundance of pink-orange flowers in long, flexible spikes. It produces small, long and narrow grey leaves, with a strong camphor smell. It has the same requirements as A. cana.

Agastache rupestris is found in the dry prairies in America. It likes porous, even poor, well-drained soil in full sun. It lives for several years if the soil does not retain water. It can be cultivated in scree gardens, gravel gardens, or on a well-drained bank, protected from west rains. Water generously during the flowering period in hot regions. It can be combined with thermopsis, galega, lavenders, rosemarys, yarrows, etc. Wait until spring to plant in humid regions.
