Campanula poscharskyana Adansa Pink - Campanule des Murets
Received wrong colours, all plants arrived dry, and in 0.56 litre pots instead of the confirmed 1 litre/1.5 litre pots. Incomprehensible... what a disappointment.

Campanula Adansa Pink, also known as Wall Bellflower, is adorned with pretty soft pink, finely star-shaped flowers. It is a vigorous creeping cultivar for rockeries and walls, in full sun or light shade. It forms a prostrate clump from which long stems with numerous small light pink flowers with white centres emerge in spring and early summer. This wonderful floriferous ground cover cascades from pots or creeps between rocks or in borders.
Campanula Adansa Pink belongs to the Campanulaceae family, it is a cultivar derived from Campanula porscharskyana, native to the mountains of the Balkans (Croatia). In nature, this species is found in rock crevices and high mountain scree. This perennial forms a cushion 20 cm (8in) tall, with a minimum spread of 50 cm (20in). It spreads through stems that root when in contact with the ground, allowing it to occupy a large area. Flowering begins in late spring and continues throughout summer, more pronounced in cooler climates. The flowers are composed of delicate petals measuring 2 to 2.5 cm (1in) in diameter, carried in loose panicles along hairy stems. The foliage is semi-evergreen to evergreen depending on the climate, tender green and composed of small, hairy, long petiolate, heart-shaped, leaves with toothed margins.
Campanula Adansa Pink is primarily a rockery plant. It quickly fills the cracks in the paving, old walls, and low walls. It also perfectly suits a wild garden. It will be admired in pots, in light and well-drained substrate and hanging baskets where it cascades in small luminous curtains.

Botanical data
Campanula likes moist, light, well-drained soils, but not stagnant humidity that causes the roots to rot. It requires well-drained soil, even limestone, but slightly moist to thrive. You can plant it in non-scorching sunlight or partial shade, sheltered from strong winds that dry it out. This mountain plant does not like too hot climates or nights where the temperature remains high. Its growth can easily be controlled by cutting the creeping stems back. Clean the foliage after flowering.

Hardiness is the lowest winter temperature a plant can endure without suffering serious damage or even dying. However, hardiness is affected by location (a sheltered area, such as a patio), protection (winter cover) and soil type (hardiness is improved by well-drained soil).
