Beautiful young plant, planted immediately! With the water we've had, it should thrive and flower as early as next year!

Description

The mountain cornflower needs no introduction, an excellent hardy perennial plant found in many gardens. It grows everywhere, in both heavy and light soils, in sun or shade.  Out of fashion for a while, perennial cornflowers are making a comeback with new colours - be careful, you're going to fall in love!

With pure white petals, the flowers of Centaurea montana 'Alba' are immaculate, they blend perfectly with the grey foliage and stems of the plant.

We recommend pairing it with lungworts, Dame's Rocket 'Alba', and Astrantia 'Star of Billion' .
