No regrowth after planting, I bought nearly ten and half of them have disappeared... not very good quality.

Description

Centranthus ruber 'Albus' is a lovely perennial with an exceptionally long flowering period. This variety of valerian produces panicles of white flowers from late spring to summer. It easily self-seeds, and sometimes settles in curious places like a crack in a wall. Cut the faded flowers before seed formation if you don't want it to spread.

Very easy to grow, it prefers neutral to limestone, even rocky, dry to moist soil.

Planting and care

Plant in the sun or possibly in partial shade in neutral to limestone, even rocky soil. Valerians prefer well-drained, even poor soil. They withstand drought well. You can prune the inflorescences after flowering to encourage a second bloom and prevent self-seeding.
