Helleborus hybridus Yellow Lady

These plants are the result of various cross-breeding, mainly between H. orientalis and its subspecies. They have beautiful evergreen foliage, dark green and glossy, which is preferable to cut back to the ground just at the end of winter, before the appearance of flowers and new leaves, in order to prevent black spot disease and to maintain the plant's brightness. They adapt to any fresh soil, even clayey, preferably without limestone. The start date of flowering, highly variable from one region to another, spreads from February to April.
