Description

Hybrid Hellebores are the result of various cross-breeding involving H. orientalis and its subspecies as the main parent. They all have a beautiful evergreen foliage, glossy dark green.

A very vigorous form with lemon yellow flowers, appearing in spring at the same time as the new foliage, well upright at the top of the stems. We cultivate this Hellebore at the edge of our yellow border where it never goes unnoticed at the beginning of spring.

Planting and care

It is preferable to cut back the old foliage close to the ground at the end of winter, before the appearance of the flowers and new leaves, in order to avoid black spot disease and preserve the plant's vibrancy. It adapts well to any moist soil, even clayey, preferably without limestone. The start date of flowering, which varies greatly from one region to another, spreads from February to April.
