Description

This pea has a creeping stump with stems carrying glaucous green leaflets. The purple flowers have bluish wings and succeed each other over a long period.

Found on the coast growing on pebble or sandy beaches, helping to stabilize them, but today it has completely disappeared.  Its strong adaptability allows it to grow well in any garden soil, provided that it is well-drained, especially in winter.
