The flowers shoot up without any problem, it's just that the photo doesn't match the actual colour!! They're not old rose like in the picture but a deep purple.

Description

Liatris, also known as Button Snakewort, is a perennial plant with rigid stems and violet coloured spikes. The flowers are 1 cm (1in) in diameter. They thrive in moist areas.

This plant attracts bees.
