Description

(syn. L. latifolium) The plant forms a flat rosette of long elliptical and leathery leaves, of a beautiful dark green colour that turns purple in autumn.

The sturdy stems bear highly branched inflorescences covered with a multitude of small bluish-purple flowers. This is the species that best withstands the wheat soil in our garden and becomes imposing in this rich soil.
