Parcel received on time and in good condition. I've planted the young plants in a planter and I'm waiting for them to start growing. I hope I won't be disappointed.

Description

Phlox subulata 'Scarlet Flame', commonly known as moss phlox, is an excellent ground cover plant with a spreading habit. It produces an abundance of flowers and has a fast growth rate. Ideal for rockeries and walls, or in a container on a sunny patio.

This very hardy perennial forms a compact and evergreen rustic carpet. 'Scarlet Flame' has 2cm (1in) long, opposite, linear, medium green leaves on prostrate stems that root easily. In April, beautiful 2cm (1in) diameter star-shaped flowers in deep pink completely cover the foliage, forming a dense carpet of blooms.

Originally from the United States, 'Scarlet Flame' thrives in well-drained, light soil, even in dry sunny locations. It is a robust plant that creates a lovely cascade of flowers along a wall or to brighten up a rockery. Combine it with aubrietas, saxifrages, or botanical tulips.
