The plants were installed and developed well during the summer, flowering in a very pretty pink, true to the website photos. New shoots appeared for the young plants.

Description
Physostegia virginiana 'Vivid' is a vigorous perennial that reaches a height of 60cm (24in) and produces beautiful spikes of candy pink flowers throughout the summer.
This plant has a spreading habit and is hardy with a semi-suckering stump. It develops quadrangular stems with deciduous, opposite, elongated, dentate, green leaves that measure 13cm (5in) long. The tubular, dark pink flowers are arranged in 4 rows and are carried on spikes measuring 10-12cm (4-5in) in length. They look lovely in a floral arrangement in a vase.
Easy to grow, Physostegia virginiana 'Vivid' thrives in light, moist, not overly rich soil in a sunny location, sheltered from strong winds. It is often used along the edge of a water feature or for making bouquets.
