I let the love of my life plant my three comfrey flowers. He put them right where they are almost certain to stay (the man has the annoying habit of running the rotavator over the spot where I planted my flowers).

Description

Symphytum Sky Blue Pink is a variety of large-flowered comfrey that stands out above all for its highly contrasting flowers, of a washed white-blue with a touch of pink, larger than average and blooming until summer.

From its sucker-emerging stump, persistent, ovate and pointed leaves grow in tight ranks, rough to the touch, and dark green in colour. The Symphytum Sky Blue Pink bears tubular flowers, white with a pale blue-washed pink tip, carried in trailing clusters at a height of 30cm (12in).

Vigorous, it can form large colonies in woodland, among bushes, on slopes... in short, anywhere where the soil needs to be occupied without requiring maintenance. This perennial symphytum forms an attractive ground cover with green, evergreen, elongated-ovate leaves, rough to the touch.

When you have tried everything and nothing has worked, the Symphytum Sky Blue Pink is your last resort.
