Description

Robust perennial with orange-yellow cup-shaped flowers.

From May, the top of the stems bear slightly flared flowers of 3 to 5 cm (1 to 2in) with green foliage.

Suitable for borders and as a cut flower.

Planting and care

Plant in full sun or partial shade in moist soil, at the edge of a pond or watercourse or even in a flowerbed if the soil remains damp. After the initial flowering, cut back the stems close to the ground and apply a liquid fertiliser to encourage the plants to reflower.
