Verbascum, also known as Mullein, is native to Europe, North Africa, and Central and Western Asia and belongs to the scrophulariaceae family. Verbascum Southern Charm is an easy-to-grow, robust perennial herbaceous plan which forms a spreading rosette of large semi-evergreen leaves. Floral spikes of 60 to 80 cm (24 to 32in) emerge from June to August, bearing 2 to 3 cm (1in), cup-shaped flowers with 5 petals, in a range of old pink, apricot, fawn, adorned with plume-like, purple stamens. A long and charming, abundant flowering with variable colours, from which you can create fairy-like summer bouquets! This mullein plant spreads over 30 to 40 cm (12 to 16in), giving volume and enchanting colours to your summer flower beds!

This robust, drought-tolerant mullein is happy in light shade and ordinary or poor, but will be more floriferous in fairly rich, chalky, well-drained soil. Southern Charm will bring exquisite pastel shades to your flower beds. With its volume and height, it will find a place in the background of a flower bed or in a group.
