Description

Aster dipolostephioides (syn. A delavayi) forms a low clump with spatulate-shaped leaves. This unique aster bears very wide light blue-lilac flowers with a purple heart.

It will grow in any well-drained soil. Perfect in a scree garden, paving, gravel garden, and borders.

The Aster genus produces a large number of floriferous perennials, in all colours, for spring, summer or autumn, and for all kinds of uses and growing mediums. Autumn hybrids, tall or small, will benefit from being divided every 2 to 3 years to regenerate the stump and protect them from powdery mildew.
