Small and weak-looking young plant in a bucket. Dead upon arrival. Very disappointed by the lack of care and quality, and receiving a replacement won't change my opinion.

Description

The Perennial Geranium 'Patricia' is a 'must have'. It blooms for over 6 months, and is one of the most versatile varieties.

This excellent slightly creeping vigorous ground cover forms a bush 50cm (20in) in height. Blooming from May, this plant flowers continuously until first frost, providing you regularly remove the faded flowers. Very abundant, the 4cm (2in) diameter flowers, in the shape of a flared trumpet, are a very pretty vivid magenta pink with a black centre.

Easy to grow, Geranium Patricia can be combined with bush roses, catmints, echinaceas or Phlox.

Planting and care

To install your Geranium Patricia, prepare your soil to a depth of 20 cm (8in) by crumbing the soil well and placing a base amendment such as dried blood or dehydrated horn at the bottom of the planting hole. Remove the plant from its pot and position by covering the top of the root ball with 3 cm (1in) of soil. Fill in the hole and water generously to eliminate air pockets. In dry weather, it is necessary to water regularly for a few weeks to facilitate root establishment.
