Rosa Sugar Candy Rose - Floribunda Rose

The Rosier Sugar Candy Rose® 'Meiconfiz', bred by Meilland in 2023, is an ideal variety for gardeners looking for a small, colourful, and floriferous bush rose that is easy to grow. Its generous flowering, in clusters of orange roses turning to candy pink, brightens up any setting from spring to the first frosts. With a compact habit, it is perfectly suited for small spaces like terraces and balconies, but also fits well in beds or borders. This highly disease-resistant rose is robust, undemanding, and cheerful.

The Rosier Sugar Candy Rose® belongs to the group of floribunda roses, or clustered bush roses. Roses in this category produce flowers grouped in clusters, providing spectacular flowering, continuous throughout the season. 'Sugar Candy Rose' is a small bushy shrub reaching approximately 40 cm in height and spread. Its flowers, measuring between 7 and 8 cm in diameter, appear in dense clusters. They start bright orange, then transition to candy pink and finally to pastel pink as they age. The flowering is continuous, extending from May-June until the first autumn frosts.

The deciduous foliage is a vibrant green, of medium size, enhancing the vibrancy of the flowers. Although this variety is not scented, it compensates for this with its brilliance and remarkable disease resistance.
