The wonder of wonders...I never thought I would find one day a bush with such lovely flowers in soft, fresh and warm shades at the same time, a dream come true!!!...and the flowers are even more beautiful than in the photos above, see mine below...the growth is quite slow, but it withstands exposure to the icy wind without any problems (I am in the mountains), be careful as the young branches can be brittle but it shows good hardiness...every year it confirms my first impression: it is a star of the garden to be placed in the center of a bed!!! Thank you Promesse de fleurs for this discovery!!!

Description

The Japanese flowering quince Kinshiden produces large double flowers in the early spring, which are green tinged with creamy white. It has a bushy habit that works well in borders or as a standalone plant. Vigorous but compact variety. Melliferous plant.

Quince trees are among the most attractive shrubs. They offer numerous varieties with single or double flowers in colours ranging from bright red to pure white.

Hardy and vigorous, they dislike excessive limestone in the soil and prefer sunny exposures that ensure better flowering.
