Description

The My Bohemian Garden Meadow Mix brings together a collection of hardy and unpretentious annual flowers whose vibrant blooms last throughout the summer. Over the course of a few months, it creates an ever-evolving, multicoloured display, animated by the flight of pollinating insects. Sown in well-prepared soil in spring, the 'My Bohemian Garden' mix allows for the easy creation of a low-maintenance, water-efficient flower bed that will delight the gardener while preserving biodiversity.

This selection comprises 26 species of summer-flowering annual flowers. All of these flowers bloom a few weeks after sowing and some self-seed more or less in the garden, in ordinary soil. The plant heights range from 30 to 80 cm (11.8 to 31.5 in).

Partial composition: tickseed (Coreopsis tinctoria), corncockle (Agrostemma githago), dill (Anethum), tidytips (Layia platyglossa), Ammi majus, etc.

Meadow gardens are very trendy. Very easy to cultivate, they bloom throughout the entire summer season while requiring minimal maintenance. Ideal for adding a touch of poetry to a slightly wild and sunny area, whether in a flower bed or a meadow, the My Bohemian Garden Mix is sown in spring, broadcast in well-prepared soil. The flowers it contains are often nectar-rich, providing a significant source of food for pollinating insects. Invite nature into your garden: sow our flower mixes along pathways, in neglected areas of the garden, on embankments along sunken paths, or in the back of the garden bordering the countryside.

Planting and care

Sowing:

Sow directly in place, from March to early June, once the soil has warmed up, in well-dug and prepared soil that has been cleared of weeds and raked. Sow finely on the surface of the soil, then lightly rake to cover the seeds. Alternatively, sow at a depth of 1.5 mm (0.1 in) in furrows spaced 30 cm (11.8 in) apart. Germination usually takes 14 to 21 days.

Cultivation:

When the young plants appear, water well and remove weeds. Then water once or twice a week for 6 weeks, keeping the soil slightly moist. In autumn, at the end of flowering and after collecting seeds, they can be sown in place after cleaning the area. Water well to make the seeds adhere to the soil.
