Description

Chamomile can be found in all low mountains of Europe, preferably in sandy and dry soils, as well as in steppes. It forms an erect clump of ramified stems carrying small, cut leaves. In summer, these stems bear numerous corymbs of small, fragrant white daisies with large yellow hearts.

In this variety, the very double flowers form almost perfect pure white balls with a very reduced heart. This form is brighter than the type species and also more decorative. We have cultivated it for a long time in our large rockery, accompanied by a Perowskia and a hexapetala filipendula, to which it brought a lot of lightness.
