Description
Echinacea form thick, black crowns, with short rootstocks. The leaves are dark green.
The flowers are pink and appear at the top of sometimes branching, vigorous stems.

Planting and care
Plant them in moist and deep, well-prepared soil in a sunny exposure. These vigorous plants are greedy and will thrive better if you regularly give them a good fertilizer. Cut back the faded flowers at the end of summer to prevent self-seeding.
