Planting and care

This beautiful species of large size is not a marsh plant, but it still needs to be planted in a deep, porous and humus-rich soil, preferably moist, in order to be at its most spectacular. It can also tolerate moderately dry soil in cooler regions. It is sensitive to very compact and suffocating soils.
